Prerequisites

CONGO has a reasonably involved set of prerequisites for installation. The platform hosting CONGO can be Mac, PC, or Linux, though for certain platforms a bundled install may be the better approach (rather than installing the components individually). See the platform specific notes on the CONGO Wiki.

Required

The following packages are required to run CONGO (version numbers are minimal - later versions should work fine)

• Apache Tomcat, JBoss, Jetty, or equivelent Java Servlet environment
• MySQL v5.0 or later
• Java VM v1.6

Note for source code users, the following additional tools are necessary:

• Java JDK v1.6
• Maven 2.x
